Sinergia Projekt: Foodways in West Africa: An integrated approach on pots, animals and plants

Based on a multi and interdisciplinary approach (Archeology and Anthropology), the SNSF Sinergia project targets the reconstruction of the history of agricultural practices and foodways over two millennia in mostly dryland areas in West Africa, with a special focus on Senegal in order to assess the impact of global changes on the diversity and resilience for food and nutrition.
