This book series publishes ethnographic research at the intersection of 21st-century environmental and economic anthropological concerns. The monographs explore the interrelationship between environmental and economic issues and their shaping by historical, colonial and post-colonial processes in a ‘glocal’ world, offering a local perspective. Topics covered include the globalised effects of institutionalised changes to land and resource use, land and commons grabbing processes, and their impact on ‘ecological crises’ and local resilience, as seen through the lenses of political ecology and intersectionality.
